Here is the lower half of the Orion

Constellation, showing the belt on

top (3 stars going left to right

diagonally) and his sword on the

bottom (3 stars going up and down).

The middle star on the sword holds

the Orion Nebula.

Here is the nebula.  My camera does

a very poor job of showing the nebula

even with a 16sec exposure.  Seeing

it through the scope is much more

spectacular. :)

I used LView Pro to enhance the image

so that the nebula would show up

better.  The green color is a false

color that was generated by the

program in an attempt to make the

nebula more brilliant.
