The following astrophotography pictures were taken with the 2 telescopes above. Prior to April 24, 2000 all the pictures were taken with the Celestron C8, all pictures taken after this date were taken with the Meade LX200 10". I used 4 different types of Cameras to take the Astrophotographs you find on these pages. - Kodac DC265 Digital Camera - Modified Quickcam Pro - Meade Pictor 208XT - Starlight Express MX5-C Images taken with these cameras are not like what you see looking through the scopes themselves. It is hard to focus the camera. The images you see represent about 20-30 minutes of focusing before I took each picture. |
